Service staat bij ons centraal

Met een team van meer dan 350 medewerkers, waaronder 150 toegewijde klantenservicemedewerkers, staan wij altijd voor je klaar. Onze medewerkers werken in verschillende shifts, van 07.00 uur 's ochtends tot 23.00 uur 's avonds, zodat we je op elk moment van de dag kunnen ondersteunen. Of je nu een partner of consument bent, wij zijn er om je snel te helpen. We zijn zeven dagen per week bereikbaar en je hoeft nooit lang te wachten: binnen 15 seconden heb je iemand aan de lijn. Contact opnemen kan op de manier die jij prettig vindt – via WhatsApp, e-mail, telefonisch of via onze social media-kanalen. Maastricht (NL), 2011 | The Birth of Social Deal

The story of Social Deal began with two college friends, Bart and Rens. Two friends with a youthful dream. With a focus on filling empty spots in the hospitality industry, Social Deal was born. Bart and Rens saw opportunities in connecting consumers with local businesses through attractive deals. What started as a small idea grew into a serious company. In the early years, they worked day and night to bring their vision to life. Over the following years, they built the company into a major player in the market, now with over 60 million users and collaborations with more than 83.000 partners both in the Netherlands and abroad. Social Deal has grown into an innovative platform that helps consumers enjoy local deals daily while simultaneously supporting entrepreneurs.

In February 201 Social Deal took its first steps in Belgium, alongside its presence in the Netherlands, with an opening in Hasselt, the hometown of CEO Kristoff. Through a combination of online marketing, networking, and perseverance, the platform was introduced to both consumers and partners. The first deal, a 4-course menu at Blue Olive, was enthusiastically received. Thanks to strong collaborations with local entrepreneurs and a focus on customer service, Social Deal quickly expanded to Leuven, Antwerp, and eventually to all of Flanders, Brussels, and Wallonia. From day one, the concept took off and has since earned a solid position in the Belgian market, now with more than 30 cities.

14 Years of Social Deal: A Timeline of Milestones

💻 2011 t/m 2013

On February 17, 2011, our adventure began with the launch of the website and the very first Social Deal in Maastricht. In February 2012 we opened in Belgium, in Hasselt. From that moment on, we never stopped breaking records, forging new partnerships, and making both our partners and consumers happy every day. 🏠 2014 & 2015

In 2014 and 2015, we took our first big steps toward further growth. We moved to a larger office in 's-Hertogenbosch. This year was also special because we celebrated the launch of our app. With this, we made it even easier for our consumers to discover the best deals in their region. 2014 was also the year we offered deals in Germany for the first time. A significant step toward the international market, which left us wanting more.

🏅 2016 & 2017

On our 5th anniversary in 2016, we celebrated a fantastic milestone: we became the market leader in the Netherlands. And that wasn't all... we sold our 10,000,000th voucher! A milestone we were incredibly proud of. Additionally, we received a fresh new look with a brand-new logo!

🌟 2018 & 2019

2018 and 2019 were marked by new milestones; we acquired our first competitor, AmigoAmigo, and were named the best employer in the Netherlands by Indeed. In 2019, we opened our 50th city, giving even more consumers access to the best deals. We were also recognized for the second time by Indeed as the best employer in the Netherlands, a title we are incredibly proud of. Lastly, we won the Loden Loekie, an award for the most irritating eye-catching advertisement. 😉

🏢 2020

2020 was the year of expansion. With over 200 employees, we outgrew our old office and moved once again to a larger building in 's-Hertogenbosch. A building that perfectly matches our growth ambitions. Additionally, we sold our 30,000,000th voucher and our app was downloaded a remarkable 7,000,000 times!

🍰 2021 & 2022

2021 was the year we celebrated our 10th anniversary and acquired two competitors: 'Mijn Mazzel' and 'Hotelkamerveilingen.nl'. With these acquisitions, we further strengthened our position in the market.

🎁 2023

In September 2023, we celebrated a wonderful milestone; 12.5 years of Social Deal. This year, we also acquired our competitor 'De Leukste Deal', launched the physical Social Deal gift card, appeared in the newspaper with advertisements for the first time, and launched Social Deal Excellent; a platform with deals for high-class restaurants. And as the icing on the cake, we sold our 50,000,000th voucher. Wow, what a year!

🚀 2024

After the Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany, we proudly announced a new country where our consumers can enjoy Social Deal at great prices: France! In addition, this year we strengthened our position by acquiring three strong competitors: 'WowDeal', 'Het Laatste Tafeltje', and 'Dagpas'. We eagerly look forward to everything the future has in store for us!

Discount platform Social Deal expands through acquisitions

The popular discount platform Social Deal has recently completed two acquisitions, strengthening its presence in the northern Netherlands. We Celebrate Success Together

As a young and energetic company, we highly value celebrating our achievements. Every quarter, all colleagues gather in a cinema hall in 's-Hertogenbosch to reflect on what we have accomplished and share our dreams and ambitions for the future. In September 2023, we celebrated our 12.5-year anniversary with an unforgettable four-day sailing trip along the stunning Croatian coast. And in February 2025, we enjoyed a four-day ski trip together in Gerlos. But our past milestones also hold a special place in our hearts, such as our 5-year anniversary in Lisbon and our 10-year anniversary celebration, where we celebrated with family and friends while enjoying performances from artists like The Party Squad, Lucas & Steve, and Tony Junior.
